John van Seventer works as a safety expert within the fishing industry. He advises on safe working environments to prevent accidents. "Every day is different and also has different disciplines. It is important to keep talking. The safety meetings held on board are mainly attended by officers. It would be good to sit down specifically with crew members to see what can be improved."
